Is It Worth Taking a Cruise? My Experience Says Yes!

I’ve always dreamed of traveling the Mediterranean, but I never imagined doing it waking up every day in a different city without carrying suitcases.

That was my first cruise: Barcelona, Marseille, Genoa, Florence, Naples and Palma de Mallorca in just one week.

Mediterranean Cruise

The best part?

Every night there were shows, good food and new friendships. Many think it is expensive, but with my Travel Club we paid much less than a traditional trip.

Mediterranean Cruise
Everything included: hotel, food, entertainment and first class service. Even the beverage package was worth every peso. Plus, disconnecting from my cell phone and connecting with the sea was a needed break.

It was an experience that combined adventure, rest and culture. An unforgettable trip that I would repeat in a heartbeat.

If you have the opportunity to do it, don’t hesitate: a cruise is one of the best ways to see the world… and to see yourself from another place.

    1. A cruise that allows you to visit some of the gems of the Mediterranean. A wonderful idea that seems to allow you to completely disconnect. I’m still not done with my vacation, and this article makes me want to go again.

A road trip, with each night in a different place, can be an interesting, yet tiring, experience. The great thing is that you can see, experience, and taste so much. Spain and Italy are great places with a variety of cuisines. I dream of visiting Spain.

So many interesting cities in a short time. And all without having to pack your suitcases again and again. Excellent food and entertainment. Parties and cocktails. I’m impressed. Sometimes it makes sense not to have internet so you can enjoy yourself more, right?

I am always challenging myself, shall I book a cruise or not.

Pro is defintily how many things you see in a short time, but contra still for me the huge amount on people at the same time.

    This still my struggle.

I love being on the water. I would like to join a cruise that may have less passenger. Do you know if there are good cruises with less than 100 passengers?

There is a lot that is appealing about a cruise and I think this really captures it. That opportunity to move around and sample different cities and areas without the hassle of checking in and out of different accommodation but rather doing it all from the comfort of the Ship. Really helps you to decide if there is an area you would want to go back to and send a bit more time.
A cruise really does take the stress out of trying to organise things.
